Employee Benefits
In addition to excellent child care benefits for working mothers, Little Leprechaun Academy offers competitive health, dental and vision packages for our teachers. Employees are given 'benefit bucks' that can be allocated towards specific ala carte benefit choices. Benefit bucks escalate based on tenure with our school.
After 6 months of employment you will begin to accrue Paid Time Off (PTO). This can be used for vacation, sick, or personal time off. You will accrue PTO at the rate of 4% of the hours that you work. At the end of your first year, the average full time employee will have accrued approximately 1 week of PTO. During your second, and subsequent years, you will accrue approximately 2 weeks of PTO.
Eligible employees are also paid for all major holidays that the school is closed. These include: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving and Christmas.
