Innovations

Since opening its doors, LLA has offered innovation in every single aspect of our school: curriculum, parent services, technology integration, enrichment opportunities, nutrition, safety, family-focused activities, and parent relationships. It is our innovation that creates parent satisfaction rates that are dramatically higher than industry standards.

We go farther than any other educator to provide excellence and innovation. Since the opening of our first school, Little Leprechaun has continually invested time and funds to build standards of operation that exceed state requirements and redefine quality.

Our unique approach to "operating and thinking" have formed what we believe is the most innovative child care and early education environment in the United States.

Best Practice Curriculum Innovations

Best practices are those that have been identified through a review of literature and a process of field testing and revision to determine which activities work "best" to promote education that goes beyond the
minimum that is required by law. Practices that are "best" truly assist families, children and providers.
- from Prendeville, J. & Ross-Allen, J. (2001.) "The Transition Process in the Early Years"
It has been proven that a "cookbook approach" is not the best way to meet the needs of children and families. With the help of our curriculum advisory team, we've chosen the best and the most results-oriented components of highly researched educational approaches and have combined them to provide a world-class learning environment. With over 110 years of combined experience in early childhood development and education, our curriculum advisory team includes two of the most respected professors of early childhood education in the nation; both doctorates and authors, a visiting professor tasked with the development of the University of Cincinnati's new Bachelor of Science option "Birth to 5 Years", Ohio-certified K-8 teachers and highly experienced professionals in the areas of early education program development and school operations.
