LLA teachers are provided natural, comfortable uniforms

We exercise strict hiring practices for all of our teaching staff:

  • Immediate and thorough background checks and education verification
  • Rigorous interviewing and screening processes
  • Working assessment interviews where the applicant spends the day working in the classroom with the lead teacher. The teacher than submits a critique of the candidate’s teaching style, child interaction methods and personality.
  • Multiple professional references required
  • Must possess a loving, caring, nurturing personality
  • Must be highly trained and be certified in safety training (CPR, first aid, child abuse recognition, communicable disease recognition) and maintain their certification through on-site classes provided by LLA
  • Drug screening
  • Must be willing to participate in ongoing professional skills development

We maintain strict standards for an educator being considered for a Lead Teaching Position:

  • For consideration for our Kindergarten program, the candidate must hold a Bachelors Degree in Education and be certified to teach Kindergarten
  • For our other classrooms, candidate may possess a Bachelors Degree in another academic discipline with relevant teaching experience
  • Candidate must commit to the academic school year (September through June)
  • Prior teaching and/or childcare experience required!
